Rating: - Great CD, thoroughly recommend it!
Bought this CD after reading the positive reviews and I'm really glad I did. Our 2-year-old girl loves it and despite playing it over and over again we haven't got fed up with it, which is praise indeed!
Disagree with the reviewer who didn't like the male vocalist's voice. I think it's a pleasant change to hear an English accent with perfect diction.

Great opening track which gets our daughter dancing and our feet tapping immediately!

Rating: - Really not that good or different
I bought this album as a result of all the positive reviews. However, I don't agree with them. Yes, there is a very slight 'twist' in that some of the songs start with different beats or musical styles. BUT, the nursery rhymes are sung by two annoyingly 'stage school' sounding singers, particularly the chap. His voice is so irritating that I can't listen to it. Plus they are basically the same as the much cheaper, but much better, BBC nursery rhyme albums I bought.

It's great and cheerful and our one year old daughter loves dancing to it. It also is the kind of CD that does not drive the parents insane when listening to it again and again. I thoroughly recommend it.

We were pleased with this CD. The music is played and sung well, and I can't see it getting on our nerves for quite some time. There is one reviewer who said he was worried that his child would look silly at school because the melodies are so different, but they seem to be quite close to the originals (as I remember them) to me.
