Rating: - Nice Little Ditties
...& a nice bit of background music for when you're hoovering or in the shower - but be warned: the first 8 tunes don't have no instruments what-so-ever - just some people singing. I'm taking my copy back to the library tomorrow where I'll swap it for the less creepy 'Orchestral Works'. Be good & god bless.

Rating: - Captivating Music & Performances!
These are deeply felt and captivating performances of Pärt's best-known works. My favourite Spiegel im Spiegel is played a bit too fast, but Tasmin Little's playing is wonderfully refined and imaginative, if not so deep as Shaham's accliamed version.

This is a music from the another dimension. Absolute clearity of the mind. A fragile balance you are looking... A touch of something beautiful that's uncomparable bigger than you.

apart from being great value for money and a very good introduction to the composer's works, the music itself is very very moving. A revelation in terms of innovative composition.
