This album is a MUST pure and simple.
Even if you're not particularly a John Mayer fan, the sound of his voice on this album is so honest and it's a great opportunity to really hear brilliant guitar playing, it also allows you to focus more on the songwriting than the other albums. The 4 songs that are on Room for Squares are still worth listening to on this album, especially Neon, and the other 4 songs and really good tracks. This is John Mayers independently released debut album. Four of the tracks are carried over onto his record label owned debut room for squares so owners of that cd will recognise them. But dont let that put you off.The other four tracks are incredible and if your a fan of this ever so talented man then this is a must have.
Rating: - A beautiful experience
This short but amazing CD is well worth the money you may spend to get it. It has amazing music and even better lyrics. John Mayer is a true singer/songwriter. You can hear the emotion in what he sings and there is no denying his talent. This is my 2nd John Mayer CD and it does not disappoint. The first 4 songs are also on "Room for Squares" but here they are acoustic versions which adds a bit more of a personal feel to the songs and more of a chance to be charmed by John's voice.
