Editorial Review:

Amazon.co.uk Review:
Queen brought a whole new meaning to the phrase over the top. While rock & roll flamboyance stretched back at least as far as Little Richard, Freddie Mercury continued to camp it up, taking little seriously and smirking at the music's growing pretensions while partaking in them no small bit. Many of the band's singles hold up extremely well, such as "Bohemian Rhapsody", "Killer Queen" and "You're My Best Friend". The quartet's canny sense of melody and sophisticated vocal harmonies--not to mention Mercury's raised eyebrow--have travelled well through the years. --Rickey Wright

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Overblown and over the top
Queen are the most overrated band ever. This collection does contain the odd decent song but most songs here are trivial, soul-less, hollow and very very empty. The world's most pointless band!

Music introduced to me by my daughter. It is excellent and a worthy addition to any collection.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Simply the best Greatest Hits around
If you were to buy one Queen album, this would be it. Apart from Sheer Heart Attach and A Night At The Opera, Queen's studio album's were inconsistent affairs and always had the odd stinker (e.g. Drowse, More Of That Jazz, Who Needs You, etc). This album collates 17 of their biggest singles (all Top 20 in one way or another) and you can't really complain about the track listing. OK, so a few singles are not on here (Tie Your Mother Down and Spread Your Wings were minor hits, Keep Yourself Alive didn't ... Read More
