Rating: - The Best Glen Compilation
If you want to buy a Glen Campbell "Greatest Hits" look no further than this superb collection, which provides a few surprise bonuses as well once you listen (i.e. Less of Me - superb early acoustic recording). All the classics are included - "Galveston", "Wichita Lineman", "By The Time I Get To Phoenix" etc plus duet with Bobbie Gentry. Rating: - The Definitive Collection
Now there are loads of Glen Campbell compilations around ranging from solid "greatest hits" collections to poor quality live versions. For me this is THE definitive Glen Campbell collection. Rating: - Could be the best Glen Campbell offering ever!
Over the past 20 years or so there have been very many of Glen Campbell's recordings offered in different compilations but none of them even come close to this fabulous collection. 46 songs on 2 CDs spanning a period of 12 years make this a great buy and an absolute must for any Glen Campbell fan. The quality of the recordings is top notch and it's most likely that many of the tracks are heard here on CD for the first time. At this price it's a bargain as well.
